Cold Feet

Blogging.

An 8 letter word that meant "old and bored" to me. My mom began this horrid adventure about a year and a half ago. I would chuckle every time I saw her typing away on her multi-background-wanna be-myspace. Blogging, really? Who actually blogs, or enjoys reading other's blog about their irrelevant lives. I didn't believe anyone did until I saw the mass following of family, church members and friends that also must have been very bored. My mother (like all mothers) says I have a gift for writing. I'm pretty good, I must say. For a kid at least, but blogging was never in the equation. Getting out of our new used mini van yesterday, my mom said I should start blogging. I laughed and retorted with the "and what about" comment. "My high school?" I laughed. She said yes.
So, here I am. I thought about the idea, and was embarrassed to even be thinking about ...blogging, but as I began to "ponder", why not? I'm kind of new to this thing, if you haven't noticed. I guess you could say...a Blogamature.

School starts in less than two weeks, and hopefully with this, all my mom's old friends and herself get to live high school vicariously through me! Ohh....isn't this going to be a blast!

I started blogging so I didn't have to call my grandma when I went to college, then I used it to write a paper for an english class and it was more interesting than most of the other papers.
